Just over 5 years ago I had the honor to ride with the Patriot Guard Riders for the first time… The Patriot Guard Riders are a group of motorcycle riders that attend the funerals at the invitation of the fallen soldiers family as a shield for the families against an extremest group known as the Westboro Baptist Church… although they are not associated with any church or domination… They are mostly members of the founding man’s family..
I wrote these words the day after that ride, I have tried to write about that day since then, but nothing I put on paper comes close to that day when I was still crying over what I witnessed that crisp cool day Oct 14th 2006
I suggest that you have a tissue handy as you read the story of The Day My Life Changed

For me there are times I am very self centered, I have more then I deserve, I live in the greatest country in the world, I am able to do just about anything I choose to because of my Freedom… You would think I would be grateful every minute I was awake for the men and women that protect all that freedom… Yet as you look into this picture the rains of Hurricane Irene do not stop the guards at Arlington from protect the unknown 24 hours a day regardless of weather. Yet as I sat comfortably indoors not once did I think about the freedom I had because of the strong willing to stand in the thick of the storm to defend our nation and our freedom…

Hello and welcome to EHT Flags, a sub division of South Jersey Flags. We started this flag company with to goals in mind, to offer a quality product with the personal service you once expected in America. The second thing was that we want to share a portion of all of our profits with the wounded warrior project hence the motto “every sale supports the troops”
We built this business from the ground up and the name EHT Flags came from our home town Egg Harbor Twp NJ. But we quickly learned that we were one of the few flag companies in south jersey so we changed the name of the parent company to South Jersey Flags. Since 2008 we have spent many hours building ads for eBay, but as many of us know eBay takes fees in several different ways and we were selling our flags almost at retail prices and not making very much money. So as my wife heads back to teaching for her 20th year, we have decided that we will take the business in a new direction, although we still sell a lot of our flags on eBay we will be working on developing our own internet store, with a much closer to whole pricing structure.
One of the reasons we are able to do this is that we no longer have to pay a fee to list our item, we will not have to pa even higher fees when we sell our item, and most of all we will not have to share a large portion of our profit with outside companies. because of this, we will be offering much lower prices in our store then we are able to do on eBay.
We have been studying what all of our competition is doing and we have a few ideas about how we can make your shopping experience more enjoyable, first we will have live people answer the telephone when you call to ask a question or place an order. Our staff will be well trained and ready to assist you in anyway possible. They will be friendly and courteous and most important they will be HUMAN… Our customer service deptmart will not be outsourced, our computerized, when you call there will be no pressing one to speak to a customer agent or 2 for shipping.
This is just a brief introduction and as you get to know us you will find that we truly are here to help you with all your flag needs and questions…
